    Fundraising campaign: 1 Policy = 1 Euro

Op de Beeck & Worth Insurance Brokers commemorate the tenth anniversary of the merger of Patrick Op de Beeck and Danni Worth with the campaign "1 Policy = 1 Euro".

The campaign "1 Policy = 1 Euro" will support the work of three charities, two of them from Marbella: CRECE MARBELLA and PIEL DE MARIPOSA, and a third one leading a project in Malawi (Africa): MARY'S MEALS.

MARBELLA CRECE promotes the integration of children and adults with disabilities, PIEL DE MARIPOSA provides assistance and advice to victims of this disease and their families  and Mary's Meals supplies food for schools in Malawi.

Op de Beeck & Worth will donate 1 Euro per each new or renewed policy throughout this year.

The brokerage also invites its clients and insurance companies to collaborate with the campaign.

In January 2016 the campaign will finish and the amounts collected will be delivered to these three charities.

The initiative responds to the corporate social responsibility of Op de Beeck & Worth and intends the extension of this commitment to their environment. Those who want to contribute to this campaign can contact the brokerage, either visiting their offices at Guadalmina Alta (San Pedro de Alcantara), calling (0034) 954 88 22 73, or online: info@opdebeeck-worth.com.

    Beneficiaries in numbers:

Op de Beeck & Worth has already collaborated with PIEL DE MARIPOSA and Mary's Meals. Danni Worth cycled the Camino de Santiago with his son in 2014 in a fundraising campaign. This year CRECE MARBELLA joins the beneficiaries.

MARY'S MEALS feeds around 740,700 children from 704 schools in Malawi, thanks to many donations (just € 14.5 per year is enough to feed one child). This makes a meal a day and schooling possible for the children of Malawi. The food is purchased in their own towns and is cooked by volunteer mothers.

CRECE MARBELLA assists about 60 children with disabilities in its educational centre at El Pilar square (Marbella), and provides stimulation and integration activities for disabled people, children and adults.

PIEL DE MARIPOSA has 220 official members in Spain (there are about 1,000 people affected by the disease in Spain). It is a branch of DEBRA international charity.
