It is possible that during the contracting process or once you are a customer, doubts may arise as to how to act in certain cases. We will always be at your disposal for whatever you need, but here are the main doubts that we receive most frequently.

Auto Insurance

You can call the 24-hour helpline provided with your insurance policy, as this includes a service that can help you appeal the fine/sanction.

Yes, in most cases car policies entitle you to a replacement car for a period of up to 35 days.

Please contact us with their full names, dates of birth and a copy of their driving licence. For a small additional fee we will arrange for your children to be included on your policy during their stay with you.

If you report with your policy a claim for which you were responsible, then any repairs made to your vehicle will be subject to the €300 excess. In other words, if the total cost of repairing your vehicle is €2,800, then the insurer will compensate you with €2,500. If, on the other hand, the claim is the fault of a third party and the third party's insurer accepts liability, then your vehicle will be repaired at no additional cost to you.

However, if the third party's insurance does not accept liability or simply does not respond, then you will have to report the claim under your policy (assuming you have comprehensive cover) and pay the €300.

Most Spanish policies are automatically renewed each year. We will notify you well in advance of the renewal date of your premium for the following year. If you have taken out insurance with an insurer that does NOT renew automatically, we will write to you well in advance of the renewal date and send you the renewal terms.

The equivalent of the original vehicle registration book, known in Spain as the "licencia de circulación" and "ficha técnica", the original of the driving licence and the original of the insurance payment receipt for the current period. If you pay your premium by direct debit, it will be your bank that will send you this receipt. If you do not receive it, you can claim it from your bank or contact us and we will send you a duplicate.

We can provide you with third party liability insurance only, or supplement it with fire and theft insurance.

This varies from insurer to insurer but, generally speaking, any driver over 27 years of age with a driving licence more than two years old and authorised by the vehicle owner can drive the car. You should advise us if you plan to have anyone under that age drive the car.
